Saturday morning I awoke to the sound of beeping. A beeping that I knew only too well, the beeping of a failed RAID array. Fortunately, it was a RAID 1, so I wasn't too worried. I dropped my laundry off at the laundromat. They're going to do my laundry. For me. And fold it. And it won't be wrinkled. For only a little more than I would have had to pay were I to do it myself.

IT FEELS FUCKING SPECTACULAR!

I will now do a happy dance.

If we could get someone to do the dishes, it would be perfect.

I should have known yesterday was going to be notable. When I woke up in the morning, it was to the sound of a bird, repeatedly flinging itself against my frontroom window in a completely futile attempt to fly into my apartment. That pretty much sums it up. The only problem I've got right now is with that stupid thing on my back, and I'm seeing a specialist for that on Thursday. I took tomorrow off for that, and I got today off too 'cause it bled/messed through my bandage and shirt yesterday. And it's friggin' annoying the piss out of me!

Actually, it's an epidermoid cyst. I've had it for a few years now, but it was never any trouble, so I never messed with it. Now, the little bugger is red and tender and probably infected, so my doctor prescribed Minocycline. That'll probably kill any acne I have, too... I'm going to have it ( Read more... )

Well, we met with Sonny yesterday. Now that I'm doing the train thing, Mar had to pick me up from work so we could go out to see him. We went to the Wendys that we usually meet at, and hung around in the car for a bit, since Bartek was going to be there too. The situation with Sonny keeps getting better and better. Yesterday, Sonny called Mar and tried to tell him that he already paid us, and they got to yelling. Today, I get a call from Sonny's son, Tilay. I'm guessing that's how you spell it. Sometimes I wonder if they just use a random syllable generator to make their names... But, I digress.
