Hi guys! Remember me? I got permission from super fabulous inmyheadx2 to do a weekly Army Wives discussion post. It's Tuesday, but I figured since we're three episodes in, a couple of days late couldn't hurt, right? Besides, I'm itching to talk about it.

WARNING: This post discusses the newest episode of the hit Lifetime TV series, Army Wives. If you are ( Read more... )

I missed the end of the episode as my husband pulled me to bed. lol So I dont know what else happened much after Claudia Joy was talking to Harry in the house.

but I thought Finn's Crush on Claudia Joy was so adorable. Especially when he would be like "MOM!!! MOM!!!" lol And his expression when she came up and was talking to Claudia Joy about going on a date with him lol..

I loved how Pam's husband came home and he really really made an effort. And that whole exchange where she tells him " you don't know what i've been through" and he looks at her and is like "and you don't know what I've been through". I swear I have had that exact same exchange with my soldier.

i also thought it was awesome that the injrued soldier gave what's her name the motorcycle. I thought it was so sweet. Even the simplest gestures can mean the world to an injured soldier, my guy had a similar experience with a wounded solider (though he didn't get a bike out of it) ;)

I also am having a hard time with the fact that Claudia Joy isn't going to counseling or anything. First, she is held hostage and then witnesses a gun man get snipered and then her daughter dies in a bombing. Cut the chick some slack!

I'm glad it looks like she'll be taking a turn for the better though.

Honestly I really should stop watching the show. It makes me so upset and sad. I really enjoy the military lifestyle, call me crazy, but it works with my brain and the way I am personally. It just works. But things are not good with my husband and I and our marriage is likely going to end and the show just makes me upset, reminding me what it WAS like before, and that it's not going to be like that anymore, we're not going to have any of that ever again. It makes me lonely.

*headdesk*

But I liked this week's episode. I loved the miniplot with Finn and the friend. That was quite well done. And the blooming miniplot with the army husband (I'm not good with names.) and claudia joy's other daughter bringing her friends to the basketball court. I liked that.

I agree with an earlier Poster. It was a slow episode. I thought the injured Soldier (Mac) was going to put the moves on Denise. So glad they chose a different route.

I LOVE the actress playing Emmalyn. She is developing the character very nicely.

"I thought the injured Soldier (Mac) was going to put the moves on Denise."

I thought that too! I was kinda worried they would turn it into a "temptation" story line. I'm glad they didn't. But I do wish we had been able to see how the soldier's girlfriend really reacted to his injuries. (besides just the oneliner about her being "okay" with it.)

I feel like I am the only one who noticed that "Harry" was the same man who at the train station asked "Amanda" and "Claudia Joy" about their boo-boos!!!!!
