Help, please?
Anyone who happens to read this, my teacher asked me to pick three classical pieces (or Japanese/Chinese music with substance) for next year's recital. If anyone has recommendations that'd be great, thanks.

Is this for piano? For orchestra the Chinese song "New Song of the Herdsman" is great. For piano Debussy's Claire De Lune or "Girl with the Flaxen Hair" (or some name like that in french) are my favorites piano songs.

thanks! it's for my piano recital next year. my teacher says i'm the finale and better make it good. so i want a piece that'll impress people. i really like 'Claire De Lune' by Debussy, more than his Reverie.

Yay! you have good taste

also, in case you were wondering, I found the french name of the other song: "La fille aux cheveux de lin" and it is also a shorter song than clair de lune in case that's an issue :-)
