Mildmay's been worried since he ran into his way too young brother. The experience was disconcerting to say the least and he's been worried about his brother since, but he hasn't actually seen him since then. So he's gone looking, checking the room he'd left the boy in and the room Felix pointed out to him as an adult, the kitchen, even the ( Read more... )

It has, though this Felix isn't doing much better.

He's probably found at some point in a quiet corner somewhere, avoiding pretty much everyone he knows and dozing. At least he has managed to keep his word to Pascal and stay away from the alcohol. Eventually, he tells himself, he'll go back. Just for now he kind of wants to be alone.

Mildmay is being very thorough, even though his leg is getting sore and tired, and eventually he stumbles across that quiet corner. Concerned brother senses appeased, he almost turns to just leave, but by this point his leg really is aching and tired and he has to sit, just for a few minutes, then he'll go and leave Felix alone.

Felix looks up from his dozing at the small sound. His eyes go wide, almost scared, and rather abruptly he's on his feet and backing up. "--Mildmay," kind of alarmed. How long has he been there, what's he doing, he does not want to talk to his little brother right now because that would be bad...

Mildmay, having only just sat down, gives Felix a look about as startled as Mildmays get. He rubs his leg, it's aching. "...Felix." He doesn't know if Felix would remember being a kid, and he doesn't want to bring it up at all if he doesn't.

Should Mildmay come across the kitchen in his search, he'll find a Phedre sitting there, and not making muffins, but cookies, this time.

She's still a bit feeble, which is why she is working sitting down. She certainly would enjoy seeing him again. She's been getting cabin fever from being locked up so long.

He's a little surprised when he sees her there, and instead of going straight out again in his search for Felix he goes toward her. His approach is probably instantly recognizable. "Hi."

It is, and she smiles at her dough when she hears his characteristic step. "Hello, Mildmay," she says with a wider grin, turning over her shoulder. "It's been a while."

"Yeah." He comes around the table so that he's in front of her. "How've you been, you feeling okay?"
