it has recently occurred to me that i may be going on a performing arts binge. last night i saw phantom of the opera and it absolutely took my breath away. i cried. it was glorious. the phantom's voice was literally like an angel's. i couldn't believe how amazing the whole production was ( Read more... )

You're going to London? I saw Swan Lake at The Royal Albert Hall and even for someone not into dance it was breataking. Riverdance was great fun too. I would reccommend going to see The Lady in Black too.

yeah! as a graduation present to myself, i'm going on a backpack trip around europe. i'll be flying in and out of london, so i'm going to stay for about 10 days either at the beginning or end of the trip (can't decide). money and time permitting, i might make it up to scotland for a few days as well (i went when i was about 16, but i would loooooove to go back).

hmmm, yeah once i looked at the london theatre district website i realized i had just about every play, musical, or ballet ever written to choose from. so i'm baffled. i suppose i'm just going to choose something to see on the say i decide to see something.

actually...i meant to ask: is there anything that i absolutely must do while i'm over there? especially in the UK? the cheaper the better. know anywhere i can stay for relatively little money??
