doctors and gnomes and legos, oh my

i drove aramis to the doctor yesterday. diagnosis: sinusitis, with secondary bronchitis. nasty and painful, but treatable. he's still pretty out of it today (he was still running a fever when i left for work), but hopefully once the antibiotics have had been in his system for a full 24 hours we'll see some marked progress

I hear you on the lego-dreams. I slept fitfully last night and had all these strange bloody dreams (I was picking up NPR through the bloodstain on my shirt) but for some reason have been way alert today. There's nothing wrong about couch-sleeping sometimes; whatever gets you through. Your sickie probably slept better for having the space.

Glad he does not have pneumonia!

re: the dreams -- i'm not sure what to ask about first, how the bloodstain came to be on your shirt, or whether you were getting good reception. heh. dreams are so freaky, aren't they?

i'm also glad he doesn't have pneumonia. brochitis is bad enough...but he's been trying to beat this cold for so long now, it wouldn't have surprised me.

I know what you mean about sleeping on the couch feeling wrong. Usually when I end up on the couch it's because of snoring and I'm mad because I feel like HE should go to the couch, not me!

I have God of War dreams sometimes. And sometimes I have LJ dreams! When that happens, I know it's time to step away from the offender.

I re-started that Log Cabin by the way and it looks MUCH better. No puckering.

aramis did offer to sleep on the couch...which was super sweet. but being as how he's sick and all, i didn't take him up on the offer. our couch is pretty comfy, it's just not the bed, you know?

i've been playing a lot of lego star wars lately, so i suppose it's inevitable that my subconscious would choose those images to work out whatever it needs to work out. it's just kind of bizarre.

i can't wait to see blanket 2.0!

aramis does have a great boss, it's true. he's good at being a boss, but most importantly i think he's just good at being a compassionate human.

re: lego star wars -- i can bring it down with me next time i'm in your neck of the woods, too. (the PS2 is teeny and portable.) it's really fun.

he's feeling quite a bit better now...although the antibiotics he's on are kind of nasty, so that's not fun. but the original infection is much improved.
