so, i recently got a therepist arranged for myself to help me fix some "issues"... i did this through work, because that way i get 3 free sessions with the therepist they appoint me to. i started about a month ago, and it seemed alright at first, although she never really said much to me in the ways of helping me. last time, she gave me a book ( Read more... )

What the hell, that therapist is complete bullshit.

And you should make Ellie call me, does she still have the same number? We ALL need to hang out. (And oh my god, Amanda's four, isn't she? *dies*)

aww man.. you and you weekend offers... well, sadly weekends might be best because ellie doesnt work on weekends and on weekdays she starts at 6am:P nick will be starting at 5am after training too:P my schedual is always different:P but i never get weekends off. but its slowing down now because of the holidays so maybe ill get one. even if i dont ill be up for it:D

I know this is a bit after the fact, but any therapist who doesn't actually show an interest in helping you learn what you need and cops out by giving you a book ON THE SECOND VISIT no less, is a complete flake and shouldn't be practicing. And then not getting back to you is INEXCUSABLE. I hope you're (were?) able to find someone who's actually worthwhile. A good therapist is a Godsend. Believe me. I've been working with one for a year and a half, and I've made more progress than I ever thought possible.
