Today I went to the gym to work out, I did C25k day 2 which went well. Yesterday I did T25 abs, which went okay. Anyway, I was in a good mood as I left the gym and decided to try a new way home. Less than halfway there, I got pulled over because my license plate light was burned out. I didn't even know I had one. So there was $124 ticket for that. ( Read more... )

Today, I did day one of Couch to 5k (for the third time, which I hear is the charm). I went 1.8 miles in 30 minutes. Not spectacular, but considering it was the first actual workout I'd done in months, I was ecstatic. I forgot to stretch afterwards, but I don't think I'll be making THAT mistake again. I have been very lucky in a lot of ways lately. I was offered a layoff from my job, as opposed to taking a pay cut and being required to talk on the phone, and managed to make the severance last me most of the summer. 1. I want someone to teach me to crochet a hat. Currently all I can crochet are quadrilaterals. Pretty, functional dish cloths, scarves, blankets, and that's about it.
