If those are the problems you're having to put up with all the time, I would say you have valid reasons to be upset. But also see it from the other side. If I was starting a relationship with someone who doesn't contact me for days at a time I would be a bit upset, too. Starting a new relationship is a very vunerable thing. You're letting a new person in, leaving yourself open to all sorts of damage. They could be just as hurt, upset, and confused as you are, which may be why they want to take it slow.
But if these sort of issues continue, I would walk away. Don't intentionally put yourself into a situation of faulty communication and little trust. One person should never try and keep tabs on another, and shouldn't expect them to drop everything whenever they are called.
