This has been a year of change for me. But it seems to mostly change for the better so here's to a spectacular 2010! CHEERS!

For some holiday cheer call 217-332-1882 and ask them to sing you a Christmas carol. It's a dorm room at the University of Illinois that will sing or play your request, 24 hours a day for the next week. It's the guys dorm and they've done this for 48 years...they're not very good singers-but hilarious!!!

I am putting together a book that contains a calendar and mixed in with each week are recipes, observations and well, just anything else I find interesting. I am giving these to my family for Christmas this year. I bought some weather stripping for the front door yesterday and decided to install it this morning ....by install I mean take the protective strip off the back and stick it on. I am embarrassed to admit this, but I was still wearing my pajamas as I put the foam strip on the door jam. Afterward, when I went to close the door, it would not shut. ( Read more... )

Earlier today, I was waiting in a line when suddenly my peripheral vision blurred until I could not see. I mean I could see colors and light, it just seemed like a big mess and nothing was recognizable.
