I was waiting in the car as Tony ran in to the store to pick something up when an expensive sports car with two twenty-something girls pulled into the handicapped parking place next to me. We had my family Thanksgiving dinner last night. It was great....I just forget how loud my family is until they all get in one place. Tony and I were out running some errands this afternoon and drove by a fast food restaurant that boasted "Fried Pickles" on it's billboard. I love pickles so we decided to stop in. I must say, DELICIOUS! Who would have thought?

Yesterday, I reupholstered my sofa. Several months ago, I found some beautiful 'cafe au lait' colored 'canvas' upholstery fabric on a close-out table, it was an entire bolt marked down to $1.00 per yard! I am going to lose it with my mother. Tony and I offered to host Thanksgiving this year. Prior to doing that we made a list of who we would invite and figured out exactly how we could make this work space wise. My brother is moving back to Salt Lake tomorrow. He is ending his marriage of 16 years to a woman that verbally abused him and did not allow him to see his family. I actually think she didn't consciously abuse him....she is just a very negative person who said the meanest things. I would have never thought he would be in such a relationship. I ( Read more... )
