So I've finally reached the point of applying for a job making coffee, which probably pays half of what my current job does. I don't know what else to do... except what I have to, right

Working world isn't nice but @ the same time, realize that it isn't a monster either. Figure out what your immediate short term goals are. Once you know that, you'll soon know your long term goals.

It's all a step into adulthood. You really can't avoid it, might as well embrace it! :-)

if you need extra cash, you can always try catering.
i've done it in a couple of places and they always pay $10-15/hr + tips and that's here in fl... y'all make more in cali. flexible schedule. hard hours but good money. try it out. a lot of temp services have catering shifts so you can see how you like it before filling out an app.

or try a temp agency anyway for other jobs. a lot of times they have stuff you wouldn't think of applying for that you may like that make decent money.

I sent my resume to a temp agency that was recommended to me by a friend last Friday. Hopefully I will hear back from them.
