1. I admire your sense of self, really.
2. Forest Gump, ... only because of the way Forest pronounces Jenny. Silly I know, but its what I think of.
3. a lovely afternoon of having coffee (or hot chocolate in my case) and a walk in the park enjoying the sunshine.
4/5. I remember there were a few times that I shared some rather difficult things in a more public way and each time you've responded so beautifully. You shared your truth with me despite the fact that I might be offended. You called me on the things I needed to be called on even though it wasn't your "job" to do so. And you were able to respect my opinions even if they differed from your own. I've never forgotten that, and I don't think I've ever properly thanked you.
6. There’s no secret to balance. You just have to feel the waves” Frank Herbert
7. What made you choose your career?

Thanks. :) And I'll have hot chocolate on our outing as well. Hee. It's so funny you picked a Frank Herbert quote too, as I'm a fan of the Dune series. And... dude, everyone does the Forrest Gump thing with me. Especially when I was actually living in Alabama. Heee. :)

Okay, number 7. I've always been a fan of movies. They've just been a big part of my life really growing up. I toyed with a lot of ideas for careers growing up... pretty much all of them inspired by some movie I'd seen. I've also always been a writer, been very creative, liked to play imagination games. Stuff like that. I thought about acting for a long time. Then I got into independent movies in high school and switched to directing (I still like acting, but I'm too self conscious for it.). I thought about film school but decided against it. And since I've been working in the industry, I've refined my goals. Writing is my main goal, and how I want to get into things. One day, I would like to get into directing (which sounds so cliche). :)

2. Down Under by Met at work
3.My friend Mary went to australia and described beautiful beaches. Id love to come to visit like Nic just did and have you show me all your favorite places
4. I have always been drawn to you, ... ever since I first saw the name peanut butterfly. I'm not sure what it is. I'm glad we've met though because you are a truly beautiful soul.
5. Often you share little of yourself. A woman of mystery. But when you do share, I love it. It means so much more because you don't trust just anyone.
6."A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself." thank you for always believing in me, and in all your friends.
7. haggis, really? What's the fascination? I just don't see it.

7. how and when were you first diagnosed with lupus

Officially speaking, my diagnosis on paper is undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD) with arthritic features. I only have the lupus diagnosis unofficially (many reasons there) but am still receiving all the treatment for lupus.

It was a long, long, long journey to diagnosis. I'd been sick for about nine months when I saw my first rheumatologist. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, told me to exercise an hour a day and take antidepressants. I tried, and got worse. Went through a few more specialists (neurologist and cardiologist) to try to figure out what was going on, to no avail.

After I'd been sick for well over eighteen months, I did some research and asked my GP for an anti-nuclear antibody (ANA) blood test. She complied, and bingo, it was positive. Got a referral to a second rheumatologist, who then diagnosed me with UCTD and has been treating me ever since.

Ooooh tough questions! How did I get involved...well, I've always wanted to dive since I was about 10 years old or so. And I just said to myself "this is still. you've wanted top try it for 10 years, just do it!!" and so I did. and now I'm hooked. and I have 2 favourite dives to date. One of them was over in Nanaimo BC on Vancouver Island, diving the HMCS Saskatchewan which is a 366ft Destroyer. I didnt go in it as I am not yet trained to do so, but I did have quite a blast diving around one of the decks of this ship, looking at the guns and other such interesting features, not to mention all the life that calls the Destroyer home. My other favourite dive was in the Agamemnon Channel which is up the Sunshine Coast of BC. Gorgeous dive. No wrecks, just abundant life, and a sea lion AND a seal were spotted!! It was an awesome dive ( ... )
