So I've had more chill time lately than I have in a really long time, i.e. almost a year (also, I've come to the conclusion that I worked entirely too much last summer; don't do that, ever), and my mind has just been running amok with just about anything it gets its hands on. Young Nathaniel, tis true that you have done what others ask of you, but is it really that bad? You wrestled for your parents and to vent out your own anger, and because of it you are in shape, looking great (got best looking in school), and no one can fuck with you, ever. You listened to me when I told you to play guitar and sing, and now look, you are open to this new world of awesomeness that is music. There are many things that people do because they don't want to and you can say it takes away from their identity. For instance, nobody wants a shitty teacher or a shitty job, but they put up with it for the experience and the money. And the people that do quit get nowhere.

You make it seem like you have become a robot, which may be true because I don't always see you. But when it's you, me, stir, tom-tom, tool, tenacious d, stephen lynch, and god knows who else, you seem to be cool and relaxed and hilarious. You are not lost, you're just hiding from yourself.

sometimes i do feel like a robot, you know? as dumb as it sounds, "cosmic shame" by the d seems kinda true sometimes; like, i don't want to fall into that. and yes, when it's me, you, stir, the ng-man, and just a bunch of music, it's total bliss for me. but maybe i am hiding...

yours is one of the relationships that transcends your need for me, though. or rather has developed onto a transcendental one. you always seem to know what to say, too.

I think its very respectable that you ponder your life and try to take a look at it, analyzing it in ways you wouldnt normally. YOU ARE A SUCH A FUN PERSON NATE! :)
