Just stuff type stuff.

Well, what a week! Say what you will about Robin Cook, but he was a senior minister and cabinet member who resigned from the government over the war with Iraq. How rare is that in these days of bum licking, self-serving Tory-clones? He was an intelligent man, and debated well and interestingly I recall from a few sessions on 'Any Questions' and ( Read more... )

I enjoyed Lost purely as entertainment, although I watched it like I watch Alias and 24--without commercials.

It's one of those shows you need to see in order.

Well, fortunately someone has said that it's being repeated on Sunday, so I won't miss the first bit - which I just can't abide anyway.

I've missed out on untold stuff because I missed the first eppie. Thank goodness for the internet. *g*

Btw, I do totally love that icon. It's my fave of yours. I sit there watching the float... Such a cool little drawing too.

Nothing like dealing with 'the public'...
As for LOST. I felt pretty "Eh?" (shrug) about it, but it has a lot of potential. I'll stick with it for a while.
It's obviously very high budget, and the plane crash scenes are pretty scary, especially if you're a wimpish traveller, like me. So far, the characters and dialogue are horribly US Network TV banal, I'm afraid...We'll see...

Yeah, but Plane Crash! *g*

I'm afraid that when there's nothing else on, I scan the documentary channels for weather porn, engineering tech and Air Crash Investigations - the only show to manage to make place crashes dull!

The telly is so poor at the moment, I'll give it a whizz I think.

The living room clock thing might be my fault. See, there was a small moment of panic in Seville concerning dates/times because his cell phone was wrong... also, apparently Cyprus is funfunfun and they're serving 'screaming orgasms' :)

Does that mean that you *know* he has the clock, or do I need to keep searching all the unlikely places in the house it could have wandered off too? *G*

Ah, no. The text message I received was more specific about screaming orgasms than alarm clocks, sorry *g*
