actually, the story is on the cnn.com homepage. So...it's not that unaccessible.

yeah, i just saw that, and it comforts me a little. but it took awhile for it to publicize on the internet. and still, this is a huge deal, and it's definitely worthy of being the top story, and on most sites it isn't (including the CNN site).

honestly, i'm taking a class called "ideal of democracy" and all we do in class is learn how much of a joke our government is. My teacher would probably cream his pants if you were his student! He HATES the government and the media... cuz they're both full of bullshit. If you're like super passionate about stuff like this, you should try getting a hold of a book called "censored 2005." We're reading it in class right now, and it's all full of the top stories that SHOULD have been covered in 2005, but no one, (coincidentally) has never heard about. They probably have a "censored 2006" out by now, and i'd highly suggest reading them if ur nuts about stuff like this. Anyway. I love hearing shit like this. Werd.

WHO IS YOUR PROFESSOR??? i took that class freshman year and i cant remember the guys name! i want to say Thomas something...O'Brien? that sounds right. he has a bald head. i am passionate about stuff like this but i definitely don't feel informed enough. i'm just so outraged that this wasn't front page news TODAY, either. in newspapers it was stuck on like, page 12 and it got about a quarter of a page...one of those shitty half-assed articles. but thank you for recommending the book! i'll have to check it out. ps. im adding you. :)
