So, brand new phone system at work today - only about 15 years too late. What is is with companies and technology? We've gone from the ridiculous to the even more ridiculous. Same brother (Neil) has just been diagnosed with PTLD -Posttransplantation Lymphoproliferative Disorders - that’s a cancer to you and me.
So how do I feel about this? On the one hand the transplant gave him a quality of life that he hadn’t had for a long time. It also gave him back his sperm count and thus gave him gorgeousGeorgeous, my little ( Read more... ) -
Arrival
The doctors told my (kidney failure) brother that it was unlikely he would be able to father children due to disease, drugs & dialysis and the resulting low sperm count. But then finally on the 25th May 2007, after nearly 2 years of testing we were able to go ahead with the transplant and he is now the proud owner of one of my kidneys. He is also ( Read more... ) -

Where's the food gone? DAY 13
Well, my first official weigh-in this evening - a good loss of 3.5lbs!!! Well pleased! Also, met my new group of ladies and gained a nice email support circle. Note to self - send a round robin tomorrow.
