I’ve just sat here and read the entire story so far in one sitting, and just...wow. Talk about a rollercoaster- one minute I’m sitting here squeeing like a massive fangirl over how adorable they are interacting and the next I’m pulling the D = face at how nothing seems to ever go quite right for them.

Your characterisation is amazing, and I really like how convincingly you’ve worked OI into the fic, because (to me, anyway) that seems like a difficult thing to do.

Looking forward to reading more! And I would beg you to give them an easier ride, but hey, we all know how this ends for them, so if anything, I’d probably be even more heartbroken. XD

Hello, you! Thanks for the comment and wow, you read it all in one sitting? 0_o This fic has a chock full of angst in it, I wouldn't recommend it XD ( ... )

Yeah, pretty much- procrastination is a dangerous art form heheh.

I see where you're coming from with worrying about there being too much drama, but I think the fact you're aware it could potentially be a problem is a good thing- means you're more likely to try and avoid it, right? Plus the angst is kind of offset by things like Axel wanting to punch Saix because he's jealous, which seems far more realistic for his character than him just moping in response.

Definitely hear you on head canon. I think I've got a few versions battling it out in my brain right now! And if artistic license leads to more fic about Lea and Isa out there, then I figure Nomura keeping things vague is probably for the best (although that doesn't mean I'm not curious, because I am. Horribly so.)

Yeah, procrastination is an awful tendency of mine but I take comfort in knowing there are plenty of others as well :D

I am keeping a close eye on the level of drama to this XD (god I sound like a gas man or something) I deliberately write Axel to be jealous and possessive because that's how I imagine he would be in any sort of relationship (friendship or otherwise). He doesn't strike me as the mopey, resigned type - Lea maybe, but he's excused as he has a heart :)

Haha, I know what you mean - it's just so fun to make up your answers to Lea and Isa. I think part of the beauty with them and Axel and Saix is that you know how they started and how they finished - it's up to you to work out how they got from A to B ^_^

You tryin' to kill me? Because, fuck, it's working. This story is so many levels of heartbreaking. Lea's loyalty to Isa, and their families not wanting them to be together. Isa's illness and stubbornness. Isa telling Lea he shouldn't be there, when we all know that's the opposite of what they both want. And you know what? Each chapter is so heartbreaking. We all know what happens to them in the end. D8

Axel is just as heartbreaking as Lea, just in a different way. He's so possessive of Saix, and it's like he knows he's fighting a loosing battle with Xemnas. Even if Saix seems unaware of what Xemnas is doing and what Axel sees. So yeah. I'm happy. XD

Nooo I'm not trying to kill you I swear XD I just enjoy wallowing in angst

Agreed, the fact that we know how Isa and Lea end up just makes any fic about them to be tragic :(

Haha don't worry, Axel's not going to give up yet. I don't think he's the type of person to let his 'possessions' go so easily :D Thank you for reading and commenting!

Well I nearly had a bit of a cry at the first part.

I'm just going to end up repeating myself, but as usual, it was amazing, I loved it, I'm so glad you added another chapter (I thought you would be leaving this one whilst Dichotomy was being done) I am so so SO in love with Lea, he makes my heart hurt.
Etc.

*hands tissue* When I wrote Lea's chapter I wanted to tackle the cruelty of OI (and just about any other disease) in the sense that it can screw up everything so easily.

I got a bit carried away with writing Dichotomy to not pay this fic much attention, but I will be writing both at the same time XD Or all three, if you include Cooking Mama - which hasn't seen the light of day since October...

Aah, I'm really happy to hear you like Lea! He's starting to get more complex now as he gets older :)

Glad you liked! :) I'm trying to keep the plot hints under wraps, so I'm interested in where you think this is going ^_^ If anything, when I write Axel, his voice is meant to be stark and relentless (instead of introspective like Saix) so it's difficult to keep anything subtle XD

Hi - thanks for such a sweet comment!! Thanks for checking out my fic (+ the numerous alerts/favs on ff.net)! I'm glad you're enjoying this angst-ridden story and that you have been persuaded into the small group of AkuSai fans :D

I deliberately write Saix (and especially Isa) in this to be over-reliant on Axel and Lea. It's quite fun to write their quirks and leftover personalities as Nobodies, while having their Somebody story run parallel to it so that you can see where it's derived from. But yeah, this fic tends to depress me and I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment because Xemnas is being a pain. Glad you like it and thanks so much for your encouraging words :) ♥
