So apparently, after a two-day stretch without sleep, 14 hours of uninterrupted slumber does the trick.  And, also, wow.  It feels so awesome to have my motor functions back and my senses at full capacity.  No more greying vision/ faint buzzing sounds/ bumping into things!!!  I remember what I did two minutes ago!
