In the "Should I Be Worried" category - I just called my local library becuase they're holding a book for me, and I won't be able to pick it up till next Weds, and I wanted to ask them to hold it until then. When I gave the nice lady my library card number, and she looked me up, she said "Oh! It's *you*. Sure... no problem." And giggled ( Read more... )

I worked in the public library for two years when I was in high school. Believe me, the checkout people are judging you. :)

That's probably it - one of the library guys is *very* flirtatious with me, I just figured he was that way with everyone.

If it had been me, it would be because you're a regular who's always been nice, and never caused trouble. If you're nice to us, we'll do what we can to help you. If you're horrible, we're not going to go out of our way to help.

I suspect you've just been nice.
