With help from schmi we got close to half of the acrylic cut out along with the fan intake holes for the top of the case and the hole in the side for the hard drive. Got the board mounted, we used nylon screws and spacers and then nylon nuts to hold things down, I just used superglue to hold the screws onto the acrylic, after setting I can hold the ( Read more... )

Just ran into someone I played in the jazz band in high school with, turns out he just moved back here after working for siemens automotive in detroit. After going to college in montana he became an automotive engineer (designs electromechanical parts for cars), it's always cool running into people from school that did well for themselves.

I wish recruiters would actually read through my monster resume before they just fire off an email to me, got one today for a 6mo contract in hillsboro, OR for $15/hour, it wouldn't be too bad if I was looking for something entry-level and lived in oregon but they want someone with "experiance" in AD, Exchange, UNIX, RACF, and AS400.
