What is a soft second...? I have no idea. A man who didn't appear inclined to say a word to me took my passport and paperwork and pointed at seats. I sat on them, watched other foreigners get told off, burst into tears, get sent home, and got kind of nervous. Same decidedly untalkative man, after about ten minutes called me over to his desk with his finger (again, no words) told me I "ain't got to sit down" (argh!) stamped my passport and pointed to the door. So off I went.

Judging from the teeny tiny stamp, I am allowed to work here now.

I'm glad you made it safely to the US and they didn't creep you out too much. I'm terrified of customs and I've only been to 1 other country.

Glad your with you boy again though, I don't envy having to organise a wedding though. So many people I know doing that at present and barely dealing. You should post pics from overseas.... sorry I'm addicted to seeing pics from abroad :)
