ugh... i sent you an email a while ago. i don't even have you're other email address. well, i have a tour of stanford on the 27th. it ends at 4:30. so we can hang out afterwards. i also need a place to spend the night. know of any hotels in the area?

i know what you mean -- i am a very shy person, and it always takes me so long to make friends when i am in situations like that. so i understand exactly what you mean. if it is any comfort, i admire you for going and immersing yourself in a completely new and different culture with a bunch of strangers!! it takes a lot of guts, and dont beat yourself up if it takes you a little while to really mesh with someone.
i am always asking myself that question -- why am i so freaking timid and shy and nlkfjalkjanlk?
