I really like the beginning. A *lot*. It's chilling, especially the 2nd paragraph. The last paragraph doesn't quite do it for me, though. I think what Bellatrix says seems maybe a little too generic, I wanted something else there. But overall, a very skillful piece of writing.

Thank you. I had a different ending in mind too, skipping ahead to the torture of the Longbottoms, but the prompt I had wanted school age, so I was sort of sticking to the parameters of the prompt. Thank you though!
