She often has excuses for not brushing her teeth.. and small things like that may indeed lead to bad teeth when she no longer has free dental care. It could be really bad in the end. Some adults do not go to the dentist when they have holes, 'cause they can't pay (I almost considered this, 'cause I really do not have the money myself right now).. alternatively, they pull out the teeth instead.

No injection. But as I wrote.. no pain-hurt, but however a "sharp pain", but English is silly calling it that since it wasn't a pain-pain, more highly unpleasant.

Hmm yes, could be the necks of your teeth that aren't encased all the way in the gums, or that the enamel is thin or that you simply indeed have very sensitive teeth. As it was like that kind of sensation, only veeery focused, and then add to that the sensation of knowing someone is _drilling_ in your tooth >_I used to have issues with what in Swedish is called Afte, those sore whiteish bumps in the mouth that turn into achey blisters earlier btw, but once I started using Zendium toothpaste those are not bothering me anymore. My mouth overall is less sensitive too, although I still need to be careful eating very hard food or candy as it seems to somehow distress the mucus membrane in the mouth ( ... )

Re the makeup, if it is a medical thing (if the laws are anything like here), they can't make you or fire you for it. I wouldn't worry, you don't need makeup, you look great just as you are.

I sure hope not, but it is likely to make me get added to the bottom of the applicant pile.. when there are others that don't dread using makeup :)

I guess I could see that happening... if you apply for a job as a cashier at Makeup Store or Kicks... which seems kinda out of character for you O_o
Otherwise... ok, maybe if you and another person are the two most competent ones and the boss had for some reason decided that makeup is important for job performance would pick the other person over you. But it seems unlikely they would demand you to wear makeup, because I think that could be taken as sexist, unless they place the same demands on the male applicants.

I wish I had a dentist I could get my teeth fixed with. The Govt. here has altered the dental service in such a way that a lot of Dentists have opted out of the NHS, and I cannot affort the insurance for the private one. The few NHS dentists here are all full. And belive you me, an abscess is *NOT* fun. :( And I hope Scylla won't have to find that out.

Ouch!

*nods and hugs*

Teeth may be small, but they can mean a whole world of hurt on a daily basis :(
