We just returned last night after a very hot weekend in KY. Sorry to all of those who have tried to get a hold of us in the past 11 days. (Before that we were in Wisconsin and TOledo, came back for 1 crazy day and then left again for KY). I ran into a storm today. I kept telling myself it wouldn't really storm...and then it did and i was 3-4 miles from home. I get started running and I can't stop. I refused to turn around and run towards home till it really started thundering. and hten I was freaking out so much that i was going to get struck by lightning. Praise jesus I didn't. So I read the Da Vinci Code and saw the movie in the last 3 days. The book was pretty good...some parts ridiculous....but I knew that was going to happen...anyways...the movie was okay...def not as good as the book...but it was cool to see teh real things (landmarks, buildings, artwork) that are mentioned in teh book. so I have this new idea. I tried it out last time and I was very excited. When I post I can pick from about 35 different mood options. Last time and every time from now on I am going to randomly pick a mood and amuse myself. Last time I got "nauseated" ha ha ha
I like this. We shall see how i am feeling after this post.

I just got two wedding invitations in the mail today. You would think that is sooooo exciting and it is...but there are two major problems. 1) they are for the same date (weird, isn't it?) and 2) we are going to miss both of them because we are going to be in England!!
The number of weddings we will be missing is up to 4 now. bummer.

as I was praying today I was reminded of how ungrateful I am. I have been feeling kind of hopeless and depressed these last few days...over petty things...the lack of sunshine, the rain, myself, the fact that I no longer get to "go home", my cleaning job...and God helped me see how discontented (is this a word?)
