hiking with a baby

i've been wondering about hiking with a baby, Daniel and I still want to do shvil yisrael (a hike along the length of Israel, 940 km) and as is happens we'll both have a few months free... right after Poppy's born, the question is, is it ok to take a new born baby off into the hill to sleep in a tent with us ( Read more... )

I would wait until a few weeks you've fully stopped bleeding, because if you don't take it easy then it could prolong the bleeding. But aside from that, it really just depends on how you feel then.

(PS: You don't need an emergency room or a doctor for colic.)

Also, how many days is it? Because you'll need a lot of diapers if you can't do laundry on the way...

Like i said, we'll see how we feel. maximum we'll sit around playing with Poppy's toes for 3 months... but i'd rather hike (and play with Poppy's toes on top of a mtn:)
