About the meaning of "soon"...
Sonn was not so soon after all but at least, soon is now. I conquered the stress by watching TV-soaps and reading and the horse is not as lame as it was any more. So, life is better but not at its best yet.
Anyway, I've taken up running again and I'm actually thinking about entering a competition, a running event for the local AIDS-benefit. I haven' ( Read more... ) -

Real life came down on me again: renovating the "new" flat ("new" is an euphemism if there ever has been one!), my horse's foundering, helping a flatmate with moving out (and with her foundering horse...)- and trying hard to fit some work in the little gaps between all this. Waiting for a movie
As my printer has already arrived today, "Dhoom is on it's way" was the best e-mail I could possibly get today. I love amazon. And I love that you can rent DVDs from them. And I love them for offering so many CDs to choose from. It's good that they don't know how much I love them, it might give them strange ideas. -
Crumbling paint
When I thought moving into a flat where a house painter lived before me would save me a lot of work, I was wrong. The paint in the living room (the only big room in fact, kitchen and bedroom are quite small) is a catastrophy. What a morning!
It's noon and I've already been in a mud-fight with a 1200 pound horse and one of the cats shat on the floor where the cat's toilet is supposed to be- but wasn't, as I was cleaning it two meters to the left, where there was more light. Stupid me.
I just spent two hours of my computer's precious time burning a DVD with only rubbish. Will I ever learn to check recorded movies before I burn them to disc? This time, I recorded at the right time, but the wrong station. Last week I forgot to put the plug in and not only recorded but also burned a whole CD of a black screen.
