Have I really been back to journaling for a whole week already? Wow. It's good to be here again, that's for sure. You folks are suggesting a lot of good things to me. Directly or indirectly, on purpose or without one. Doesn't matter. Good work!
I'm going to try to go running every day, and do some footwork and arm-strengthening so I'm not totally out of shape when fencing class starts again in a few weeks.

I read Self Made Man a few weeks ago. Interesting subject, and certainly well written, but I felt she spent too much time going off on philosophical tangents about the meaning of what she was discovering and not enough time just describing what it was she was discovering.
Hm. Another book did that recently. And I can't remember which one. Dammit.

The only similar things (and they are only remotely similar!) I've read so far are Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides and As nature made him by John Colapinto. But as I consider gender a very interesting topic, I need mooore :) So, if you remember the titel- please tell me! Thanks.
