By the time Jonghyun was almost home, Sayu seemed to be okay. Still, he was almost there, might as well check on her properly. He would have called, but they had to throw out her cell phone because Hiyori had used it to call someone else in the Council. Which meant it became traceable. He bought a new one for her but he had it with him, lot of good that did right now.

The cab pulled up to the house and he paid the man then watched him leave. Then he rushed to the door and swung it open. “Sayu what the hell.” Stepping inside further, he slammed the door as loud as he could. There wasn’t a response. Jonghyun started mumbling expletives and went to their bedroom, but she wasn’t there either. He checked each room and she just wasn’t in the house.

“Jessica.” He let the accusation sit there for a minute, balling up his fists, but then calmed a little. If something had really happened, it wouldn’t be over. Sayu would still be wound up and he would know if there was something wrong. Wouldn’t he? It wasn’t like it was a sixth sense. Maybe it’s so weak it’s untraceable. He concentrated harder to find her exact feelings.

Content? Happy? It didn’t make sense. Thought without any clue to where she could have gone and still be okay, he couldn’t do anything about it besides wait for her to come back. Or be contacted with some sort of stupid ransom fucking note like before. Fuck this girl.

Just as he was fuming over her disappearance he felt her feelings change. She was excited, thrilled even. And then feeling pleasure. He felt himself getting hard just thinking about her, something fun was happening. She’s obviously not in danger. Jonghyun shrugged and went to take care of himself, might as well enjoy it.

An hour later, Sayu opened the door to their bedroom and Jonghyun was sitting on her side of the bed, using her computer to do who knows what. “Hey! You can’t use that!” She walked over to him and slammed it shut, taking it from him while he snickered. “What are you doing going through my stuff?” She glared at him, clutching her lap top to her chest with her purse still hanging from her elbow. Sayu wore leggings and a skirt, a laced top and her new jacket.

“You look cute. Who got to undress you?” He smiled, but she could feel a pang of jealousy, anger, he was completely serious and trying to hide it.

She stared at him for a minute, trying to figure out how to respond, cooling down her anger. Oh, this was about that. It was a small revenge. “You went out, so I did too. Is there a problem with that?”

“There is when I don’t want you going out.”

“We haven’t discussed that.”

“We need to. You also need to tell me what the fuck scared you earlier.”

She looked confused for a second and then something like an ‘aha!’ moment. “Oh, Joon came by. He dropped off a card. I assume he’s congratulating you ironically on our bonding. I put it there.” Sayu began to relax and walked to the tiny table in the room to set the laptop down, away from Jonghyun’s grasp. She picked up the card and handed it to him.

Jonghyun took the card and flicked it over his shoulder to land somewhere on the bed. “So you didn’t go out with him then who did you fuck?”

“Why is that important?”

“Because,” he hesitated, then flashed anger, “I don’t have to explain just don’t go fucking guys.”

“Oh so you want a sexually frustrated woman living in a house with three available, male, vampires? I suggest you come up with something else.”

“We fuck.”

Sayu stared at him for a minute; the time that went by was pretty long for a suggestion like that to have no response. Right now, neither of them was paying attention to feelings, but it seemed like she wanted him to say that so he did. She did want him. Now it was time to take action.

“Are you asking me out?” Sayu smirked.
