DVD2MKV and Auto Gordian Knot

Has anyone tried Auto Gordian Knot for DVD ripping? I’m [again] looking for an elegant DVD to MKV on the back of reading this /. post. Uh, not that I have the space to actually try it out right now..

I use it to encode rips to .avi files and I love it. Been using it for years!

ah cheers. had a link to this but i deleted my software bookmark folder with a stray mouse manoeuvre.
