Decision time. I finally decided. I'm going to Colorado State and working for Tom Rovis. He really is going to be the best advisor for me as far as I can tell. Despite not being at a top 5 school like Berkeley, I think I'm going to get better training as an organic chemist working in Rovis's lab. Fort Collins is alright. They have some good microbreweries, and a good chemistry program. All in all, I think if I went there it would be pretty much the same deal as it was at U.C. Santa Cruz. Not looking forward to waking up at 5AM to drive to the airport.

I am looking forward to St. Patty's day in a town that is among the most densely populated by microbreweries and pubs. It will likely be a solo mission, but I am going to have a good time in Fort Collins.

The visit to CSU should be good as well.

I'm running out of time to procrastinate doing my taxes. I think this year H&R Block is doing them for me. Maybe I'll come out ahead this year. Paying the IRS sucks.
