it's not fun to have to write an eight-page paper on something about which one doesn't care. it's worse to have to write said paper on something one doesn't understand in the slightest. seriously, some day i will write something in this journal other than whining about schoolwork. that's probably a lie, but allow me my little delusions for now.

i went to the seven-eleven to buy milk, and when i tried to take the credit card slip from the cashier to sign, i kind of bumped my hand into his fingers because i was trying to take the receipt and he was trying to hold it down for me to sign, and i kind of mumbled "oh, i'm sorry," and then he looked at me and smirked and said all creepy ( Read more... )

i wonder if life actually was simpler when i was younger, or if i just remember it that way.

i have finished my essay three hours before it's due, which means i can sleep for two hours and shower and not be smelly for class. i'm not sure why this makes me laugh evilly, but it does. mwahahaha.

so after, like, three hours, finishing off the rice cakes, and changing the subject of my paper, i am now over a third of the way done. in less than six hours, i have to go turn this in, and then i have to try and stay awake for two and a half hours of class, and then i have to come home, do battle with the phone company (verizon has decided that ( Read more... )

i now have, like, eight hours to write this essay, and i still haven't started. i think i've somehow convinced myself that, if i just put it off long enough, it'll somehow write itself while i eat and watch tv and sleep. i am such a lazy bum.

yeah, so, not starting an essay until nine hours before it's due is a really stupid plan. in case anyone was wondering. so maybe i should get started on it instead of making pointless livejournal updates and eating rice cakes.
