Weather like this is slightly reminiscent of the city of my upbringing. Except here, the lightning flashes are far less omnipresent and the thunder much more subdued. Quite unlike the omnipotent storms of which I easily grew accustomed. But this afternoon, for a moment I felt a feeling akin to joy, while an adult passenger buried her head in fear

the wind and rain has been beautiful today. outside of the window at work i can see hundreds of trees shuddering and immense clouds moving in and out of view while the plastic pane shivers.

if only there was thunder and streaks of light outside.

It was beautiful, wasn't it? I'm just disappointed that the weather for the week didn't continue as promised. There was baby lightning and a rumble of thunder Tuesday in Hercules but that was enough to make me all nostalgic. :)
