I value LJ updates way more than the FB ones. You have the opportunity to go into greater detail here (in my opinion) and it feels less commercial (to me).

I always read everything my friends post, so whatever you want to write I'll read--personal stuff, everyday stuff, poetic stuff--it's all good.
