I really feel like posting something, but have no idea what to say. My life is rather dull, you see. Not that I'm complaining. It's just a constant cycle of school, food, sleep, unicycling and fangirling. A cycle which I rather like. It's just not really interesting. I have found,however, a new place to unicycle. Gosh I haven't posted in a long time, have I? Anyway, I just finished my work experience today. It was so much fun! I was working in a publishers, which I organised myself. Well, I haven't been on LJ for a bit as have either been ill, away or waaaay too busy thanks to my insane teachers who want me to revise or three extra hours a day. They're all bloody mad! Ridiculous bourgois snobbery...
Today I had an uncontrollable laughing fit when I heard what my aunt had been talking to my parents about. Basically, my cousin is about to go to secondary school and my aunt wants to send him to a private, rather a comprehensive, school.
Her reasons are as follows:- He went to a private primary school.
- He will be subject to "bad influences".

Other stuff about the Barbican tour production...
So I've said what I thought of the principals, now I just need somewhere to write down everything else I noticed.
Stuff I liked:- Petit Gervais in the prologue. It's very short with no dialogue (Les Mis being sung through) but to a Brick!fan it really adds to the story even if it's about 30 seconds.

Les Misérables at the Barbican review...
Before I start being critical, I have to say that last night was probably the single most incredible experience of my entire life! The whole experience of seeing my very favourite musical (and book and miniseries and concept etc. I really could go on...) was just so overwhelmingly beautiful I was overcome with emotion. Barbican Les Mis production today! OMG!
I'm so excited. My Mum said that my main birthday present was to go to the tour production at the Barbican, although she didn't tell me when. I just found out it was today! It really is going to be incredible seeing it staged in the same theatre as the very original production. In a lot of ways, I prefer the original production in terms of blocking ( Read more... ) -

I've finally managed to take a photo of what is probably my best piece of artwork, um, ever. Thing is, I haven't actually tried to really sit down and draw anything for years (unless you count stick men which I don't) so I'm really surprised that I actually managed to make it look like David.
