Forty-Sixth Summons: Flowers

 [Ai is back to normal, finally. She isn't human anymore. And it's a relief. You can find Ai in a few places today, just being herself.

A. The street is on fire.  ....okay no, it's not real fire and it's not the road. But a car parked on the street looks very much like it is on fire. Ai is practising her illusions.

B. If you're walking by 1451

[It isn't safe to be out so late. All sorts of awful things come out this time of night. Evil little boys, for instance. There's one watching her right now from high in a tree, feet dangling over the side of a large branch.]

[miss_enma_ai]

[And she's suddenly down the street. On top of a telephone pole this time.]

[strike_you_out]

[He manifests on the utility pole opposite her, briefly contemplating how the both of them would fit on one pole should he happen to catch her. Time to find out. He's vanishing once again.]

[miss_enma_ai]

[And she'll vanish the moment he does, appearing on the roof of the nearest house.]

[strike_you_out]

[Now resting on the pole Ai had just been no more than a half-second ago, Slugger looks around until he spots her on top of the house. He leaps from the pole and is gone.

If Ai doesn't move, she'll feel something grab her shoe from below. It's a hand and it's coming up right through the roof.]

[miss_enma_ai]

[Looks down. Oh. Right. He could do that. Nope, she didn't move in time.]

[strike_you_out]

Tag.

[He's in front of her now and rolling backwards towards the edge of the rooftop.]

[miss_enma_ai]

[And she's behind him. Arm outstretched. Watch where you're skating?]

[strike_you_out]

[Now where'd she go? Slugger looks over his shoulder and immediately puts on the brakes. It doesn't stop him but it gives him enough time to swerve out of reach and off the edge of the roof.

Once on the ground, he races into the street on his skates keeping an eye out for Ai.]

[miss_enma_ai]

[She's standing in front of you now.

At least that looks like her.]

[strike_you_out]

[Luckily, on these skates, Slugger is all kinds of agile and will merely try to swerve around her...]

[miss_enma_ai]

[And she appears in front of him again, keeping this up as he tries to swerve around her.]

[strike_you_out]

[He'll quickly try to swerve again, this time in the opposite direction. But there's a good chance that, at some point in the process, he won't be quick enough to escape and will trip over his skates (and possibly right into Ai.)]

[miss_enma_ai]

[And luckily for both of them, this isn't really Ai, he falls through an illusion, the real Ai appearing to go and tag his shoulder when he stops falling.]
