Work Woes

I hope I have averted more work woes. I had meetings yesterday, one of them with a partner, and my counter part S1. I told the partner that I felt like something was coming down the pipeline, that I was about to be blindsided with something. That S2 and I were not getting along still (they know about this already) and it was getting worse

About 5 years ago a young co-worker of mine was killed in a head on collision while in California with her hubby. He was at a work-related conference and she was with him as she was still on Maternity leave.. with their 8-month old son. I looked at my facebook, that fateful day and she had just posted that she had just had her last lunch in California at the beach with her favourite little man. On her way back to the hotel, a man who was smoking pot while driving, dozed off, crossed the center line and killed her. Her son survived but not without serious head injuries that will be with him always. Her hubby worked for Adobe. They were amazing and supportive. They paid for him, the baby's hospital bills (extensive!), they paid to bring both his and Jaye's mothers to California, and for all of them to travel back to Canada by train when Kyler was well enough (his injuries precluded air travel).
