my back teeth have been kind of soreish lately and i dont know if i should go get it checked out

yeah, pretty much mandatory
some people are born without them but I don't think that's too common
you should probably get it checked out!

Wow, four of my friends here are getting theirs taken out during break. Mine haven't come in yet, so I'm beginning to suspect that I was unfortunately born without them.
