I hope you are aware of what an incredible and powerful thing you did when you started a community theater company. Just the fact of that has me in awe some days. I hope you feel a lot of pride and joy from this, and that even your darkest days are less dark than they otherwise would be knowing that you have done this thing. Mine are just by knowing it's a Thing that can be done. A person can say "this community would benefit from this, and I want to do it," and it can happen. That's a powerful fact to know about life.
Thank you. It's really good to hear that. And yeah, it is something that I take pride in and get validation from.
It's funny--there are a lot of different narratives that I tell about founding T@F, because a lot of separate needs and purposes came together in that moment. And it has become so much more than I ever dreamed it would. We're talking about plans for our Tenth Anniversary Show, which I don't think any of us expected ten years ago :)
Trust breeds trust. It's so amazingly cool. T@F had a steering committee meeting tonight and were just talking about how strange that so many people have met, opportunities have been grabbed and people's lives have been changed all because lillibet and Mlj user="jason237"> decided not to go on vacation that year all those years ago.
Pretty cool to be able to point to a moment in time and say, "THERE, THAT SPOT, it changed all of our lives in ways we never could have imagined!"
