I have two two-year-olds and it's fucking hilarious.
We go to Prague at the end of the month, around the Christmas markets (sans children obviously) and I am excited.

Why do kids things have to be so huge and ugly and cause clutter in my house???
I have hired a skip as god knows what will be requested at their birthday/ Xmas. Something massive & plastic that will add to the landfill issue probably.

So we still haven't got a dog. I wanted to rescue an older dog rather than have a puppy weeing/ pooing all over the place. Puppies are cute and all but toddlers plus shit probably equals ecoli or something and I don't have time for hospital visits. Anyway no dog rescue will rehome a dog to someone with kids under 5 basically so back to square one. ( Read more... ) -

Little update on life - still working four days per week, still struggling to keep bread consumption to a minimum. Still trying not to kill two little people. Still living in Linthwaite.

Basically long story short Benji has had a fight at work with a colleague. This is NOT the kind and gentle lovely boy I know. The boy that brings me kit Kats when I am stressed and climbs in the bath to give me massages and watches his babies whilst they are sleeping and strokes their faces. On one of my days working from home I have stopped sending the eggs to nursery in order to save myself £280 per month. I try to multi task and it goes ok until someone from work rings me and I have to run somewhere where there is no baby noise to be heard. Anyway usually this is the car and I am a bad parent and employee.

Work is fucking shocking at the moment. We had a 4 hour meeting on Monday morning (something I resent going to every single week) because the first hour and a half -at LEAST- is people catching up about their golfing weekends and it's just not worth my time.
