I really really want to know what the referendum outcome was for the NUS debate. Does anyone know? ANYONE?? This sodding uni does not update its websites enough man. It should be online NOW. I voted no. But I'm not really arsed to be honest. I'm just intrigued.

Having been out of the National Union of Students (NUS) for over 25 years, students at Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) have voted in a campus-wide referendum to join the NUS. In a close vote and with a turnout of around 3500, 52% of participating students voted in favour of the move. (1811 voted for, 1646 voted against).

Hi!

No I wasn't at Ampleforth for 6th form. Would like to have gone but alas boarding is not my thing. I go there a couple of times a year for retreats etc and I have a few friends went to the 6th form.

Aha, okies, I was there 93-98 and out of curiosity ran a search for it thru LJ and guess who popped up :)

Aaah right. Cool :) Looks an amazing place to be taught at. I'm looking forward to going there for the Easter Vigil. Wish I could escape there more often.
