I don't remember seeing a rant in your LJ lately . . . ?

So after replying to you, I realized that you edited your own rant. Duh! I'm sorry - it's late (in FL), it's been a long day, AND I've had a couple glasses of wine. So strike my last post. Except for the HUG - it's still valid. :)

You shouldn't have to remove your rant. It's your journal, after all. I was just surprised by it m'self. Do I need to crack somebody's kneecaps?

I've noticed masses are the same, everywhere. You'll always run into the same distribution of awesome people and idiots in any group, wehther that's co-workers or a bowling league or the PTA or Pennsic or the County Fair. People are people. Sometimes you might be taken by surprise by either the good or the bad when you are least expecting it.

All we can hope for is to find "our people" -- those folks you resonate with, and whom you can call your family and your best friends. Sometimes we choose correctly, sometimes we're betrayed, sometimes we're pleasantly surprised when someone comes through and we never knew they were such a treasure.

Fortunately, not everyone is into the cattiness. May you continue to find the trust-worthy people on whom you can rely to be there for you, in 23 minutes, in 23 days, in 23 years.

*gigantic hugs*
