A couple of years ago I made an 1880's late Victorian corset. Of course this was right around the time I started losing weight. By the time the corset was finished, it was too big so has never been worn.

Hi!

Last fall I made a Victorian corset that no longer fits. It has never been worn so would like to sell it.

It is made from white cotton, with a small square motif in the fabric, and trimmed with white lace. I used steel bones for the interior.

As a disclaimer, it is my first corset but turned out really well and is very sturdy.

When I read it, the following paragraph punched me in the gut and I'm not sure why. It has stayed with me for almost three weeks now so I'm posting it for future reference.

On a side note, I highly recommend the book. It's a memoir about a middle-aged guy learning to surf, but I think non-surf folks will enjoy it.
