Weekend in a nutshell
Quiet.
Dinner with everyone didn't pan out. Picked up McDonald's instead and played video games all day.
Got my shopping done for my family online. No way in hell I was going out.
Anyway... doc's apt this week and then nothing else going on except more work from home to pay bills. -
Grrr annoyed!
The back of my knee is itching and has been itching for the last two days and it's driving me bonkers because I can't reach it and I've tried shoving anything I can down this godforsaken cast to no avail. Though I think I might have cut myself with the wire hanger. Now THAT'S gonna itch too in a couple days ( Read more... ) -

Did my civic duty and voted. Halloween party was fun. Wish I'd been more mobile but it was fun having sexy half dressed "Egyptian slaves" at my beck and call. I think I might have just figured out my costume.
Now I need to hunt down a litter and 4 hulking men to transport me in it.

I'm officially discharged from the hospital. I'll have this cast on until at least December so that puts a major crimp in Halloween festivities ( Read more... ) -
La dee dum
Nothing much to report. They've added a regiment of upper body strength training to my therapy. I can't seem to hold myself up on my crutches very well. The weight of the cast is throwing off my usual balance and my arms can't really handle the weight very well even with my good leg stabilizing things ( Read more... ) -
Cabin Fever, GO!
I'm perfectly healthy, but I still haven't been released. I've been moved though. For some reason I'm in maternity at the moment. I keep getting moved though. As I'm not ill, they need the bed for a the sicky. I think I've been to about every area of the hospital at some point. Pediatrics was by far the worst ( Read more... ) -

I'm not sick even though I've been on contact with people who are sick. Whatever this bug is, it's keeping me in the hospital even though I should have been discharged already ( Read more... ) -
Update~~
Still stuck here for a little while, but the leg that didn't break is healing nicely. I've started some minor bit of therapy for that. If all goes well, this weekend should see me free! If not early next week ( Read more... )
