Bolton

I honestly don't know how David Dimbleby has managed to restrain himself from bitchslapping John Bolton. My god he's a difficult pundit.

Simon Schama is fabulous though, and is giving Bolton a good verbal bitchslapping at least.

Why on EARTH did they select John Bolton in the first place? He's the least credible secular conservative in America.. and that is really saying something.

Perhaps they just thought it would be funny to sit him next to Schama...and they were right.

He did tell Dimbleby that the BBC should sack one of its journalists for an 'outrageous' interview before complaining about BBC bias for some time...

Believe it or not there are a number of thoughtful and intelligent conservatives in the US that are worth listening too. But they seem to be on CNN.

Bolton's been replaced by some Democrat person now anyway...sadly so has Schama :( He's been replaced by the first American I've ever seen wear a remembrance day poppy.

I don't know about your election coverage, but the Republicans are certainly prickly tonight on the BBC. It's hilarious.
