I finally found out what the lotion at work smells like. CARROTS. It has avocado and carrot extract, but of course, avacodoes don't smell, and if you think about it, carrots have a very distinct smell. Especially when freshly cut. Interesting I know. Creepy lotion ( Read more... )

Saturday was both fun filled and sugar packed. It was awesome! I got see Emily, Dani, and Matt AND I got to eat cake. I love my photographer! She cracks me up. She's working at a haunted house at the collesium and she went on for about 10 minutes about how many people pee and poop their pants because it's so scary. Last night at work I was putting away a file (ah, the glamour of being a massage therapist) and I gave myself a papercut. Not just any paper cut though. Oh no! I am such a dork. I was kind of in a rush this morning and I went to cut a bagel in half. Too bad I sliced into my finger!! It was the cleanest cut I've ever seen. Clean cuts don't heal as quickly as jagged cuts. It was a bleeder too. It's a good thing it's my day off. I just hope it's mostly healed by tomorrow so I won't have to worry about ( Read more... )

I am soooo excited. I filled out an application at this place on Monday, and I went in to do test massages today. Along with two other people. We all got hired on the spot! It was fabulous! So now I have a new job and will be starting as soon as they need someone to come in. They said as soon as tomorrow. But we'll see. They gave me fun shirts too ( Read more... )
