No not me, but a friend of mine. A beautiful young woman, only 24 has a serious level of cancer she revealed today, chaemo starts next week.... I don't know her that well but she has such a bright sunny personality, is a pretty young thing too and is actually playing it down it seems, trying to stay bright and positive... makes me cry. It is terribly unfair, my gran died of cancer through smoking, all i can say is she must be a very brave and unique young lady and fingers crossed her treatment goes well.

I don't think she smokes - you have met her too - the pretty new comer to the munch and Lush who since vanished. Remember the girl the guys were all flocking around as soon as she appeared a several months ago? She has dark hair with very bleached top layer to it... she told Nev she had cancer but not what type, said she didn't want to go into it too much, must be so upsetting for her

You know what really sucks? Cancer. It's a pretty shitty thing, and it kills far too many people. However, it's been killing people for thousands of years, and every other day there is a new breakthrough in either treatment or prevention ( ... )

you know what really is shit? People who will willingly hurt others, cause them to become ill and die because they are too selfish and drug addicted. Why should we be forced to breath poison whenether we go out or should we all just stay at home to be safe? You say the state is inflicting itself on smokers? Smokers inflict stench and disease on us every day and then say they have the right too. Yes people get cancer in many ways but you KNOW smoking causes cancer, not only in youself but those around you and your own children, still you do it, why? because it is a drug and you are hooked, a lot of smokers harm and kill their own kids out of pure selfishness ( ... )

*hugs* I know it's sad. *hugs again* I've had to deal with losing my grandpa to lung cancer, and it never seems fair.
