Is there anything cuter than a toddler:

• Scooting to sit on your lap
• Taking your hand to guide you somewhere
• Holding their foot up to get socks/shoes on
• Snuggling into your chest - the toddler urge to tuck their arms and wiggle
• Any number of sleep positions

Well, it's already been a couple of weeks, but Quinn turned one year old on the 16th. I can't believe it. I also so clearly remember how awful I felt for so long a year ago. All told, from the week I found out I was pregnant to right before getting the epidural, I gained something like 53 pounds.

When I left the hospital, FORTY of those pounds were gone.

Today I weighed myself and I’m only 4 pounds more than when I found out I was pregnant.

My due date was Monday, so no baby yet. The main sign any progress is being made is having a low(er) belly, so I have a ton of gap at the top of my uterus. Perhaps the fact that I've been weepy almost every day for the past week - super uncharacteristic - is another, because hormones.*
