Okay, my comment about this Prop 8 thing

It isn't the end...just another setback. Marriages between any two people will, someday, be universally accepted...in the meantime, Iowa looks good right now...

I can't in good conscience even go to Iowa to marry if it means that my gay and lesbian friends without the means to marry out of state must have their noses rubbed in it.

Until then, though I am legally allowed to marry in California or anywhere in the US, my fiancee and I have chosen to wait until the 'someday'. Right now it feels like someday will be a long, long time.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to work toward marriage equality.

Yeah I hear ya on that...but I predict within the next decade it will happen. Seems an eternity in the span of a human lifetime, but is really rather short from a historical perspective.
